In Memory of Jane Lee

Posted on

Our new friend, Jane passed last night from a fall she had several months ago.

She was carrying groceries in one hand and a bag of ice in another as she was walking to her house. She fell, landing on the bag of ice and broke her right leg in 6 places and her shoulder. She told us she said as she fell, “S…t, I’ve done it now.”

She was doing pretty good the last few weeks. The leg was healing but she couldn’t keep anything down when she ate or drank.

She will be fondly remembered here at Timber Valley. She was one of the original leaseholders who helped build Timber Valley SKP Park of Oregon.

She was one funny lady and I am thankful she took me under her wing when we arrived here in April. We had several lunches out and she always kept up a running commentary as she drove us down the road.

You will be missed Jane by many, many people you touched in your 93 years.

So sorry to hear this, Gwen. But as we know she is in a better place. I have a 95 year old friend at my Sew and Sew group. Love her!
