Our time here at Timber Valley has been so good for us. We have met so many nice people. They have been accepting and friendly.
Dale helped on the Landscaping Crew and I helped with the library. That is what a co-op park is about – Lease owners working to make the park work.
One of the original park leasors who jumped in back in 1987 to develop this park is one person who has become our friend. Her name is Jane and she is 92.
She shared her hair dresser, Karen, with me. We went to a lovely lunch at Tolly’s to get to know each other more. Then Dale and I were invited to go to lunch with her in Roseburg. We had a lovely day of eating and shopping!
Jane is a Pokeno and Bingo player and we have a lot of fun groaning and sharing how we are “one” to win! She is spunky and a lot of laughs. She also has the best spot in the park which is up on a hill. She claims to know everything going on here because of being able to see out over everyone else.
She has been a God send and I hope she is here for many more years.
