In The Desert

Posted on

Sorry for not posting much. Life is busy right now helping my daughter get ready to go to Germany. I am at Ft. Irwin helping her clean out cupboards and put her stuff into four piles – Germany pile; storage pile; Klamath Falls pile; and the give-away pile. She is allotted 11,000 pounds for three of those piles. Dustin is also getting his own box of stuff. Thank goodness I live in an RV or she would be loading me up with stuff!

It has been very windy here. The wind can blow for days and it can be a strong wind. Thus, my head cold. Grrrrr. Not something I wanted that is for sure.

Courtney has been busy with her friends since she leaves on the 16th of March. She is sad to be leaving them but in the end they will leave here too. Military life is hard on making lasting relationships.

The kids will fly out April 1 along with their 2 dogs and a cat. Oh, now, that one is going to be fun. Lesa puts her car on a boat along with all her belongings.

Good news is that her MRI came back normal. She does NOT have a pituitary gland tumor. PTL.

All is good and moving along. Sure going to miss my family.

Thank you to your Army family for all they do for our country.
We have 2 sons serving right now in the Army. It’s hard but we are very proud.

    God Bless you,

    David and Paulina
