Sutherlin, OR

Posted on

We made it to Sutherlin. What a beautiful drive out of Bandon to Winston. The Coquille River was over-flowing into the fields big time. Amazing how every little town looks the same as it did 20 years ago.

We found our park and space and settled in. Lunch was left far behind so we went to see if our favorite Oregon Mexican restaurant was still in town and it was. Si Casa Flores served us a hearty and delicious lunch.

This morning it looks like the coast weather followed us – overcast, rain and fog. Burr. It is cold too. Such is winter time. There are many spaces open so think the folks went south for the winter months! I know, what are we doing here right?! 🙂 Next year.

We will check out the area since our names are 22 on the list. We could be up for a space as early as next year or in a couple of years. We like the park. It is huge and spread out. Gives everyone room to breathe. They also have a nice list of activities and I see one where the men cook! There is also many streets to walk on with hills too.

Life is good. Now to find a chiropractor to put my ribs back. They are hurting. Life is still good! God Bless.

When I was working I drove that road about once a week! Loved it, not much cell service, so I could relax and enjoy the drive without having to talk with customers.
