A Day of Rest

Posted on

Doris has been keeping me pretty busy this weekend. Grocery shopping and then church this morning. It felt good to be singing to the Lord and worshiping. The message was how to live in this life as imitators of God. The most important value we can have is to Walk in Love. The church also has this really cool drummer. She is probably in her 50’s and she could really get a good sound out of those drums.

After a semi-sleepless night (parents left on vacation and the kids had a party) of loud kids and louder cars, I decided today would be a day of rest. At least there have been a couple of good movies on the tube.
I am also beading a bracelet. A new stitch for me. The Peyote Tubular stitch. It is fun because it calls for different sizes of beads and that makes it funky looking.
Well, time to go reposes my dog and get to bed early. Dale is coming home tomorrow! Yippee.

Life is good in Lodi, CA. God is magnificent!

We get partiers too – thankfully we can use bluff to control them and it works… Glad you are getting some rest. And church is always a blessing when God’s love settles more within us…
